Eleanor “Ellie” Karlin, nee Bernstein, age 72, beloved wife and best friend of Spencer for 50 wonderful years; devoted mother of Cindy Sharfman, Marty (Geri) Karlin, Jamie (Keith) Johnson and Ronnie (Brian) Kodish; proud and loving Bubbie of David, Lauren, Brittany, Brandon, Cassidy, Joshua, Ryan, Zachary and Izzy; dearest sister of Marsha Berger and Sheila Davis; dear cousin, aunt and friend of many. Ellie was a loyal employee and friend of many at Shear Elegance for over 40 years. Chapel service Sunday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
